The Why and How of Friday Worship

At Friday Worship we want —

  • Our children to be loved and taught God’s Word,
  • Our hearts to be connected with new friends,
  • Our spirits to be captured with the grace and glory of Christ,
  • Our faith to be strengthened in the promises of God,
  • And our minds to have learned new truths from the Scriptures.

Here is how you can experience this –

Make your way to Grace Church for Friday Worship (detailed directions here).

Arrive early enough to help your little ones settle into their safe, loving, children’s ministry classes – maybe 9:45?

Then enjoy coffee or tea and meet some new friends.

At 9:55, our worship team will play a song to indicate that the service will be begin shortly and allow us to prepare our hearts for the service. At 10:00 worship begins.  Our worship team will then use contemporary songs, hymns, and Scripture to help us see and feel the love, goodness, and majesty of God in Jesus Christ – and to have a fresh experience of His grace.

Then we will have some announcements and take a no-pressure offering (visitors please feel no obligation to give).

And then we will receive teaching from the Word of God that aims at being biblically faithful, hope-giving, and life-changing.

At the end of the message we close with a worship song, and invite anyone who would like prayer to come forward to be prayed for.

Our services wrap up at around 11:30, which gives you time to enjoy some coffee or tea or go out to lunch with new friends you have met.

Join us this Friday – we’d love to meet you.
